Israel fairs, information evenings, application deadlines, interviews and answer dates for students starting seminary in fall 2027. Each one has the official link and where it comes from. Past dates drop off by themselves.
"Subscribe" keeps your calendar app up to date as we add dates. If it doesn't open, copy this address into your calendar's "add by URL": https://seminaryguide.com/seminary-dates.ics
Many schools come to you: they visit high schools, hold parlor meetings and interview on the same trip. These are announced to schools, not online, so ask your Israel guidance office.
Midreshet Tehillah says its representatives will be in the States, Canada and England after Sukkot to give presentations and interview for 2027-28. The page lists contacts for arranging a meeting.
Migdal Oz asks applicants to join its prospective-students WhatsApp group and attend an Israel night presentation; its English page links an online presentation on Israel Next Year.
We found no public seminary fair for Canada yet. Midreshet Tehillah says it visits Canada after Sukkot. Ask your high school's Israel guidance office, or Mizrachi Canada, which helps fund the year.
Students from Australia, New Zealand and South Africa usually go on a February-to-December year. World Bnei Akiva's MTA program places women at Machon Maayan and Midreshet HaRova. Its page still showed 2026 dates and a June 30, 2026 deadline, with an application form labelled 2027, so ask Bnei Akiva whether places remain. We found no fair listed in Australia or South Africa.
No open days for overseas applicants were published. If you are in Israel, Midreshet Lindenbaum and Midreshet Tehillah both invite visits by email: see each school's page.
19 of the 42 seminaries we list had no dated deadline for 2027-28 on their own site when we checked. Some take students all year; others tell applicants directly. Here's where to check for each one.
Download the application from their site and send it to the Brooklyn office (1904 Ave J, Brooklyn, NY 11230) by mail, fax or email. The form carries a $100 non-refundable application fee. No deadline on their site.
Download the application and application letter from their site and mail them with a $200 application fee to the registration office in Jackson, NJ; the high school sends transcripts and the Principal's Confidential Report directly, and an interview follows. The forms on their site are for 2025-26, an earlier year (deadline December 19, acceptances by March 2), and the open house it advertises was in November 2025. The site still shows a December 19 deadline without a year, so ask the school which form to use.
Download the application form (Kodesh and Chol, or Chol only), fill it in with Adobe Reader and email it to maalot@nevey.org with your seminary and high school transcripts, any college transcripts and SAT scores, a photo and a $40 application fee. The forms on their site are for 2025-26, a past year, and no deadline is given; ask the school for the current form. The "Chol only" link opens a form headed "Maalot Online".
Online application form linked from "Apply Now". Fixed program dates are listed (full year August 26, 2026 to June 15, 2027) and custom dates can be arranged. No deadline on their site.
Online application form plus uploads (transcripts, report cards, family and medical forms) and reference forms. The window shown on their site ran December 23, 2025 to January 21, 2026; dates for the next cycle were not posted when we checked.
Online application on the Mayanot site; the application lists the Women's Program for ages 19-30. Year or semester (fall or spring) options and shorter programs. The application page says applications are due not later than two weeks before each start date.
Applicants create an account on the school's online applicant portal. The home page application link is still labeled 'Application 5787' (2026-27); no 2027-28 deadline shown. The site also advertises an open house called "A Taste of Me'ohr".
Apply online on their own form (Meorot is not on the joint seminary application). The school then schedules a video interview with its co-director. Their site gives no deadline and doesn't name the year the application is for.
Open to single and married adult women of all ages from any country who are fluent in English; a basic commitment to traditional Jewish observance is required. Download the application and medical forms, email them to the office, pay a non-refundable NIS 180 application fee, send proof of Jewishness and a passport copy, then interview with the director. No deadline is given; the site says applying early is an advantage.
Contact the Darkaynu office by email first, then complete the online application (photo plus an essay or short video). A paper application is also available. No deadline on their site.
Complete the online pre-application at any time; staff then follow up. New students are accepted throughout the year, most starting at one of five terms and staying one to five terms.
Fill in the short form on their Apply page or email admissions to receive the application; then an interview, medical form and tuition agreement. Rolling admission; programs run all year.
The site says applications for 2026-27 are closed. For that year, applications ran from December 21, 2025 to January 11, 2026, with interviews in Crown Heights in early February and by Zoom for applicants elsewhere. Dates for 2027-28 were not posted when we checked.
Their site has no application form or deadline. It invites families to sign up for information sessions and alumnae events at its U.S. location in Brooklyn; contact the office to apply. Its alumnae page still refers to the "2023-34" school year.
Online application form on their site, plus a passport photo and two written recommendation letters from a rabbi, rebbetzin or mentor. Processing usually takes 2-3 weeks. Flexible start dates; no deadline on their site.
Apply on the yeshiva's own form (it is not on the joint seminary application), with a $50 fee, two recommendations and a high school transcript. The form is now for 2027-28 (5788) and says applications are due by December 6. Their overseas page still describes the 2026-27 cycle: interviews in late December or early January, acceptance letters on February 15.
Seminaries don't publish how many students apply or what share they accept, and we won't guess. The closest published numbers are class sizes, which 13 of the 42 schools give on their own sites (you'll see them under "At a glance" on each school's page). One school, Oryah, states an intake: between 30 and 40 students accepted a year.
What you can do instead
Apply to more than one school. The joint application (opens in a new tab) is built for that: one form, sent to whichever of its 21 schools you choose (20 of them are listed on this site).
Ask your high school's Israel guidance office which schools its students apply to and where they were accepted in recent years. They see the results every year; schools such as Scheck Hillel (opens in a new tab) describe their Israel guidance team helping "every step of the way".
Go to Israel night or a fair and ask each school directly how many places it has and how many girls usually apply. Our questions to ask a seminary help.
Keep the usual rhythm in mind: schools open applications in late summer, fairs run in October and November, most deadlines fall in early December, interviews run through December and January, and answers come in February with only a few days to accept. The details are in applying to seminary.
